With hyperinflation running out of control at around 50,000% (yes, you read that correctly, 50,000%) in Zimbabwe, I'm sure most of the folks in Zimbabwe have been offered comfort by the encouraging words of Central Bank Governor Gideon Gono who says" As monentary authorities, we once again assure that nation that we are in full control of the currency situation". Really? Well keep printing those new 10 million dollar bills (which are worth about $4.00 US).
I wonder if this guy is related to Big Ben? They are both, after all, in control of government created messes and don't wish for us little people to worry about things. "Don't worry, we are from the Government and we are here to help!!!" Ugh. No one ever learns.
